Zach One Month Old

Here is our little dude. For those of you who haven't seen him on a daily basis, he is growing like a weed. The shirt he has on is a 3-6 month shirt. As you can see it fits perfect and he is just a month old. He is out of all the 0-3 month clothes and most of the 3 month clothes. It is all due to his length.

More of Zach

Zach chilln' in his bobby. He loves to be in it.
This is how Chris found us one morning in the living room. Needless to say it was a rough night for both of us.

He is growing so much.

Zach Week 2

Zach's first walk, he was awake for the whole thing.
This is right after the first time he peed all over himself. It was really funny to watch his expression. And then not so funny when I realized it was all over our bed.
Kristin came and hung out with us for the day.
Our little Ute!!

First of many family pictures in Ute gear. This was before the big game.

And yes, we had to also show our support for Michigan. Zach and I were Ute fans that day and Chris was a Michigan fan. GO UTES and GO BLUE

Here is Zach in his Michigan Jersey

My Dad and Chris at the big game

Kelly Nelson was in town for the game and stopped by to see the little dude

After bath time, he hates the bath but loves the snuggles after

My Dad and Kelly came to visit. It was so much fun having them here. We did a lot of hanging out, watching sports, playing with Zach, and eating!

One last group shot before Grandma and Grandpa D left to go back to Utah. We had a great time with them and miss them already.

He is here! (week 1)

Zachary Christopher Sadler
August 16, 2008
9 lbs
21 1/4 inches

Here he is, just an hour old

The best hour of my life. My little Zachary came back to me from his over night stay in the NICU and my sweet husband brought me #1 from Jimmy Johns. Life could not get any better. Truly I am happy, but my eyes don't look it because I was loaded up on pain meds.

We are so blessed to have such a beautiful, healthy baby. We count our blessing everyday for him. Zachary has brought such a joy into Chris and I life. We love everyday with him.

Chicago

St. Joseph, MI
We went with the Quinns and Elders to visit our long lost friends, the Barlows, at their new home in St. Joseph, MI. We made a great weekend trip out of it. It was so much fun. A ton of laughing, eating and good times.
Here we are at their beach on Lake Michigan. The sand is so soft and the sunset was beautiful.

The Girls

The Boys

We went to Chicago for the day. We saw a Cubs game. It went 12 innings and unfortunately they lost. But we had great seats and it was really fun.

Us at the game!! Go Cubs Go!

Downtown Chicago

Lisa and Elizabeth were really tired from the big day!!

Kristen and Matt planned the entire weekend of fun. They were great hosts, they had itineraries with every event marked out for each day. We had so much fun. Kristen bought the boys Benton Harbor T-Shirts, except she forgot her own hubby. Poor Matt!

One last group shot. We had a great time, full of fun memories!!

Taking a breather.
On our way back from St. Joe's we stopped by Notre Dame. It was fun to see their campus.

4th of July

4th of July

Kristin Ellis hosted a 4th of July extravaganza. First we started off with a great breakfast then the kids decorated bikes and strollers for a parade. Then we paraded down to a park. Here is Abby, our leader, parading down to the park.

Then we went back to the Ellis' house were we had snacks and they blew up this water slide thing for the kidos. Thanks Kristin for such a fun day.
Part 2

We then hit the road to drive to the other side of the state to St. Joe's to watch the fireworks. We met up with some of our good friends the Barlows who recently moved to St. Joes.
This is the first beach we went to to watch the fireworks. Lets just say there was every walk of life there. It was great people watching. We decided to go about 2 mins more north to a beautiful, family-friendly beach.

Us and the Barlows

My mom and I.
She flew in for the weekend. It was so much fun spending time with her. I miss her already.
