Easter

Zach loved the grass in his Easter basket

Zach with his first Easter basket

The boys in their Easter Church clothes getting ready to go to church. Of course I was working that day. I was sad I missed it, but Chris did a great job taking pictures and keeping me updated while I was working.

Michigan Football Locker Room

The Michigan Football Locker Room was open to the public for the first time in a while on Saturday. Chris and Zach waited with friends in a cold, long line to see it. It was a great experience and neat to see.
Here are the boys getting warm in the tunnel at Crisler Arena.

Ben Quinn and Zach in the locker room. Both of them are huge for their age. We are joking that they will be in the locker room one day playing for Michigan.

"The Big House"

Balboa Island, California

Last minute trip to California.
I worked a night shift Saturday into Sunday, then I came home and slept till 1. Chris woke me up and asked if I wanted to go join my family in California. Three hours later I was on a plane to California. It was so much fun. Great to be with family and have warm weather.

Zach slept for the whole flight from Chicago to LAX. He was a dream. It didn't hurt that the seat next to me was empty. When I arrived, Taylor was waiting at the gate and told me that Natalie had just decided to join us as well. She was getting a flight the next morning. Crazy!

Disneyland with the Family.
We were missing Dad (at a business meeting) and Bradford (on his mission).
Chris and James (working at home)
As you can see in the photo, Marquel has on Tinker Bell wings. She would not take them off the whole trip. She loves Tink.
Zach's first time to Disneyland. He was good for about 5 hours and then had it. I would have to say pretty good for a 7 month old. His favorite ride was Pirates of the Caribbean.

Zach got to take a ride in Marquel's Pink Stroller so she could sleep. He is doing his kissy face, which he either is doing this or smiling. Silly kid.

Marquel's nap time at Disneyland

Ferry ride over to Newport Beach
Emily, Natalie and Hunter
Zach's first time at the beach

Checking out the sand. He loved to play with it and eat it.

First time in the ocean. It was freezing. He didn't mind it at all. In fact he started crying when I took him out. He got in up to his waist. He loved to watch the kids run in and out with the waves. What a brave little kid. It took me a good 10 minutes to get all the way in.

Marquel and Zach at dinner. Marquel wasn't too sure about Zach. He kept steeling her menu and crayons. He thought it was really funny.

It was so much fun staying on Balboa Island. We would walk the island at least twice a day. Here we are on one of our walks.

We had so much fun, back to reality work and cold weather.

7 Months Old

Better late than never. While Cordie was babysitter Zach, she took some pics. It was perfect because I was just over 7 months old. She did such a great job. The middle one is him doing the downward dog yoga move. Thanks Cordie for the great pics.

Taking a Walk

We took Zach for a walk the other day and it got cold, so we covered him up the best we could. We thought that Zach would want to stay warm, but ......
Zach always has to be able to see what is happening, so he found a way.

6 Teeth!!!
That's right - Zach just had tooth number 6 poke through the other day. That is two on the bottom and four on the top. He can now bite, he hasn't bit himself yet, but he loves to try to bite anything he can.
We can't get a picture of the top ones, but he loves to show off the bottom ones.
6 Month Photo Shoot
Zach had some pictures taken at six months. They looked great! Thanks Jessica for doing such a great job!

Moving

A lot has happened this past March and we have been a little slow posting on the blog. We found a house to live in for the next three years in Michigan and moved into it. No pictures yet, but we will have some when we get all moved in.

Moving Day - It was ten dollars more to get the big truck - well worth it. Thanks to all who came and helped us move.

Getting ready to move, we found out that Zach sure likes to play with boxes.
