St. Joseph, MI

We went with the Quinns and Elders to visit our long lost friends, the Barlows, at their new home in St. Joseph, MI. We made a great weekend trip out of it. It was so much fun. A ton of laughing, eating and good times.

We went to Chicago for the day. We saw a Cubs game. It went 12 innings and unfortunately they lost. But we had great seats and it was really fun.

Kristen and Matt planned the entire weekend of fun. They were great hosts, they had itineraries with every event marked out for each day. We had so much fun. Kristen bought the boys Benton Harbor T-Shirts, except she forgot her own hubby. Poor Matt!

4th of July

Kristin Ellis hosted a 4th of July extravaganza. First we started off with a great breakfast then the kids decorated bikes and strollers for a parade. Then we paraded down to a park. Here is Abby, our leader, parading down to the park.

Then we went back to the Ellis' house were we had snacks and they blew up this water slide thing for the kidos. Thanks Kristin for such a fun day.

Part 2

We then hit the road to drive to the other side of the state to St. Joe's to watch the fireworks. We met up with some of our good friends the Barlows who recently moved to St. Joes.

This is the first beach we went to to watch the fireworks. Lets just say there was every walk of life there. It was great people watching. We decided to go about 2 mins more north to a beautiful, family-friendly beach.

My great friends from my ward threw me a "Baseball" themed baby shower. It was so much fun. They had great food and decorations. I received so many great gifts. Thanks gals for putting together an amazing shower.

My Birthday

Birthday Time

I had to work on my birthday this year (bummer), but it turned out to be a great birthday anyways. At work one of my great friends Anne bought me a smoothie and bagel for breakfast. Then she made the whole room sing happy birthday to me (I was a little embarrassed). My mom sent me beautiful flowers at work.

Then normally after a long 12 hour day on my swollen feet I go straight home to bed. We were dropping Anne off at her house and Chris pulled into a parking spot. Anne said she had to show me some baby stuff. Little did I know Anne and Chris had a surprise party for me with cake and ice cream and some of our friends. Then to top it off, Chris gave my the new Lego Indiana Jones Game that I really wanted. I know, I know kind of ridiculous, but I love Nintendo games. It was the best birthday.

Summer Trip

Due to my current state I was only able to ride in the boat and go for a jet ski ride. So here I am nice and dry in normal cloths after Chris skied. I think that staying in normal clothes was all that was keeping me from jumping in and going skiing. It was really hard.

This is what happens when you are way to strong and break the ski rope. Oops!! Good thing he held on to the handle or it would have become fish food.

Chris and his dad doing some maintenance work on the pump. It was really funny watching these two try to paddle this boat around while working with the pump. But they were able to pull it off and the pump worked great.

Here is 'The Princess' Marquel and I going for a John Deere ride. She loves to go on rides on my dad's lawn mower. She is growing up so much. I miss her like crazy.

We had a great time in Utah, nice and relaxing. It was great to see friends and family.

My cousin's wife Kristen and I are due a couple weeks apart. So my Grandma T threw us a combined shower. It was fun sharing the day with all my cousins and aunts. Thanks to all you gals that came up from St. George and AZ.
